This year's theme was RED SOLO CUP. Let's have a party...
This year we broke our own record for late night BBQ's. I retired around 2:00 a.m. but the festivities continued until almost 4:00 a.m. The temperature was very hot, it felt like a100 degrees, but revelers braved the weather and over 35 friends and family had a great day. Our fashionably late quests arrived after 11:00 pm and we were still in full swing. The menu included: BBQ Tri-tip, pulled pork, hamburgers and hot dogs with a full complement of fresh grilled corn in the husk, potato salad, pasta and rice salads, blackberry cobbler, cookies and much more. The object is to get out of the large solo cup without spilling your sweet tea. It is not as easy as it looks.
